If you are addicted to Pinterest as I am, you probably get bitten by the home DIY bug once in a while. Because making the environment around us more beautiful is among us creative people’s biggest obsessions. And, let’s face it, home decoration can be really expensive. So DIYing is many times the perfect solution.
Truly, there are some pretty professional home DIY pieces that can revamp in a second every corner of your sweet abode for a fraction of their store-bought lookalikes’ cost.
A couple of those DIYs shown here can also be called IKEA hacks, as they use IKEA base pieces embellished with a cool touch. But you can get creative and use anything else that you’ve got laying around.
Oh yeah, chances are you might not have all the tools to make your home DIY dreams come true. Then look for a FabLab in your city or any space where you can get your hands to work.
There’s a bunch of those DIY copper clothes racks around the internet, but I like Geneva‘s for its cool, triangle shape. Though I also really like this minimal proposal, this hanging option, this hotel porter with wheels, and this concrete-feet rack. Truth is, you can always hang ropes from the ceiling and use a single copper pipe, sometimes as long as your room. Why not?
It doesn’t get easier than that: just find a mason jar and cover it with a copper pipe.
