Death / Nameless Card Meaning - Major Arcana - Ancient Alchemy Tarot - image

The Nameless card, aka Death, lives in the 2nd house and is ruled by Taurus and the planet Venus. The Nameless card energy connects with you through the 3rd Chakra.

Important:
I'm using the Marseille Tarot deck because it's the first Tarot that we know about, and it was brought to this planet by Nicolas Flamel in the 14th century. It's a tool of personal development used in the secret school of alchemy. If you have any prior experience with Tarot, I invite you to open your mind to a new way of interpreting the cards. Hopefully, this information will add up to your current knowledge.

Death / Nameless is one of the Tarot deck’s most feared and misunderstood cards. Many people avoid mentioning this card because it has so much power. Most of the time, people take the card’s name literally.

However, the true meaning of the Death / Nameless card is one of the most positive in the Tarot.

First, it is not the Death card; notice that it has no name. In fact, it is the only Major Arcana of the Tarot de Marseille that has no name. Therefore, you should refer to it as the Nameless card.

Second, the Nameless card asks you to reconnect with the lightness and purity of The Fool. The similarity of the Nameless card to the Fool card is enormous.

Notice that both are in the same position holding a stick. Also, while the 13 card has no name, the Fool’s card has no number.

Death / Nameless and what’s essential

Do you remember that the Fool only carries the essentials for his path of evolution in that little bag?

When you get to card 13, it means that you’ve come a long way in life. You have accumulated many experiences, friendships, objects, and hopefully money too.

As it resides in the 2nd house ruled by Taurus, the Nameless card refers mainly to the use of material possessions (money and objects).

But this is not all; possessions can also be friendships, experiences, and even habits.

But all this is going to make you a little heavy. Many of these things are unnecessary for you to achieve your life’s mission.

And the Nameless card warns you to cleanse, to eliminate everything that no longer makes sense for your evolution.

While your spirit is your Divine Essence, your skeleton is your earthly essence. When we die, only the skeleton remains, isn’t that so?

The card asks us to clean everything until only the skeleton remains. If you don’t do this, you can rest assured that life will take from you something that doesn’t make sense for your journey. And this is much more painful than doing it voluntarily.

Don't gain the world and lose your soul. Wisdom is better than gold.

So, as The Lovers card says, don’t get attached to anything. Sometimes you have to lose to gain. As the Hanged Man card says, transform yourself constantly, be a walking metamorphosis.

And especially as the Wheel of Fortune card says, use the energy of Taurus to invest in your life purpose wisely.

Keywords: transformation, misuse of possessions, resistance, help, letting go.

This card is an invitation to minimalism. Take only the necessary commitments, and nurture only the friendships that uplift you.

Above all, keep and care only for the objects you need. Make a radical transformation in your life and…

Let the magic happen!
