Death / Nameless is one of the Tarot deck’s most feared and misunderstood cards. Many people avoid mentioning this card because it has so much power. Most of the time, people take the card’s name literally.

However, the true meaning of the Death / Nameless card is one of the most positive in the Tarot.

First, it is not the Death card; notice that it has no name. In fact, it is the only Major Arcana of the Tarot de Marseille that has no name. Therefore, you should refer to it as the Nameless card.
