Important:
I'm using the Marseille Tarot deck because it's the first Tarot that we know about, and it was brought to this planet by Nicolas Flamel in the 14th century. It's a tool of personal development used in the secret school of alchemy. If you have any prior experience with Tarot, I invite you to open your mind to a new way of interpreting the cards. Hopefully, this information will add up to your current knowledge.
After the shadow work accomplished by High Priestess, card number 2. You developed an extraordinary intuition, Empress card number 3. Now you can create much more accurate strategies to achieve your goals.
Number 4 also represents stability; that’s why the Emperor is the archetype of the Ruler, in fact, the masculine energy of the Ruler.
Emperor, the Ruler
The Ruler has the vision of the horizon, creating and executing strategies with mastery.
The Emperor sees what others can’t see. He has the eagle’s vision; that’s why he is sitting on a throne with a carved eagle.
To be an excellent governor, one must have ideals. Only when one knows their purpose one can pick the right battles to fight.
However, just having guides is not enough. The Emperor has noble values. Consequently, he is the father figure who gives structure to the lives of his subordinates. He creates fair rules and systems, disseminating his knowledge throughout his kingdom.
Selflessness. Humility. Truthfulness. These are the three marks of an honorable man.

He knows that nobility is not in a family or a country; it comes from the spirit. When you have noble ideals, you are ready to be an Emperor.
The Emperor is masculine, strategic, and political power. The Emperor’s long beard symbolizes his vast experience, and he also wears a war helmet.
First, the Emperor is a warrior who has fought many battles. With his strategic abilities, he won many before sitting on the throne.
To conquer his lands, the Emperor had to travel and explore. That is why this card also represents culture and travel.
The Emperor and the Empress
The Emperor and the Empress are the Rulers. But the Emperor has the word and command. Behind a great man, there is always a great woman, and vice-versa.

They are the archetype of couples that thrive together. When the Emperor recognizes the value of his Empress, who acknowledges the importance of her Emperor, they become stronger.
When both cards are side by side, see how they look at each other. See how their scepters seem to toast their marriage.
If you are a woman, probably the Empress is more active in your life. But inside you also lives the Emperor. And if you are men, probably the Emperor is more evolved, but you also have the Empress inside you.
Your mission is to balance these energies, heightening your superpowers. Then you are ready to become The Magician.
Together, the Emperor and the Empress hold the vision of the future.
