The Lovers Meaning - Major Arcana - Ancient Alchemy Tarot - image

The Lovers live in the 1st house ruled by Aries and the planet Mars. Its energy connects with you through the 4th Chakra.

Important:
I'm using the Marseille Tarot deck because it's the first Tarot that we know about, and it was brought to this planet by Nicolas Flamel in the 14th century. It's a tool of personal development used in the secret school of alchemy. If you have any prior experience with Tarot, I invite you to open your mind to a new way of interpreting the cards. Hopefully, this information will add up to your current knowledge.

The Lovers is the 6th card of the Tarot. And why is it card 6?

The Tarot helps you navigate the river of life and brings you face to face with the challenges and learnings of your life.

The Tarot is the Fool’s journey, and the Fool is you. Therefore, this card has no number. Card 1, The Magician, reveals your primary goal, and the Magician is your North Star to reach enlightenment.

The 2nd card is the High Priestess and shows us the importance of self-criticism to transform yourself into a better person. Empress card 3 connects you with intuition’s energy.

In 4, the Emperor gives you the energy to create precise strategies to achieve your goals. And in 5, the Hierophant helps you develop self-confidence to communicate effectively and spread your life mission.

Here is card number 6. Now you are face to face with the moment of making a choice. Making decisions can often be quite stressful, isn’t it?

The Lover, it’s decision time

The person in the middle of this card is the protagonist, the Fool, with two women by his side. An older one and a younger one.

Above there’s a Cupid. Love that comes from the sky announcing it’s time to choose.

The Cupid arrow and the Fool’s body point at the younger woman. While the Fool is looking at the older one.

The hand of the older woman is going toward the man’s 1st Chakra. The 1st Chakra has to do with roots and ancestry. In other words, she’s trying to hold the Fool through the past. She is the old pattern.

On the other hand, the younger woman touches his 4th Chakra, his heart center. Telling him to listen to his heart to make the best decision. She represents the new pathway.

Trust your instincts, and make decisions on what your heart tells you. The heart will not betray you.

David Gemmell

This card is telling you to make room to let the new in. And that is a choice. It means that you need to detach from the past. It is the Aries warrior who needs to let go. Free your path.

Although the energy of The Lovers connects to you through the 4th Chakra, the Chakra of relationships. It is not just about people.

Sometimes you need to let go of objects to move forward. Remember the Fool’s bag? He only carries the essentials. It can mean detachment from a house, car, or habit holding you back.

Keywords: decision, choices, detachment, freedom, paths.

Use the energy of The Lovers to make wise decisions, let go of what no longer serves you, and…

Let the magic happen!
