The World Card Meaning - Major Arcana - Ancient Alchemy Tarot - image

The World card lives in the 4th house and is ruled by Cancer, and the World energy connects with you through the 1st Chakra.

Important:
I'm using the Marseille Tarot deck because it's the first Tarot that we know about, and it was brought to this planet by Nicolas Flamel in the 14th century. It's a tool of personal development used in the secret school of alchemy. If you have any prior experience with Tarot, I invite you to open your mind to a new way of interpreting the cards. Hopefully, this information will add up to your current knowledge.

The World is the last card of the Major Arcana. And consequently, you are ready to move on to a new stage of your journey, which alchemists call portals.

When you are born, you pass through the first portal of the material plane. And according to alchemy, every 7 years, you pass through a portal that activates one of your Chakras.

As a result, each Chakra activates at least one of the 4 elements (fire, earth, water, and air). In Tarot Card 21, the World shows four animals representing the four elements.

In addition, the central figure is walking toward a wreath of flowers that signifies the passage of a portal, which is not necessarily one of those portals we pass through every 7 years.

The World and the portals of evolution

For the alchemists, these 7 years portals happen whether you deserve it or not. For you to evolve, nature has gifted you with the Chakra activations; now, whether you use this energy consciously and effectively is another thing.

Notice that there is a symbol of infinity on the wreath because your evolutionary process never ends. Therefore each stage of life, whether evolution happens or not, the World appears, and you move on to a new phase even if you have to repeat the lessons you should have learned.

In Judgment card 20, you received the call from your soul to live your life purpose. If you have accepted it, you are ready to begin a new phase of your life.

Suppose you have already stepped through the portal on the path of purpose. In that case, this card can indicate the completion of a long-term project or any other important event in your life.

The World is the card of self-realization, and it shows that all the efforts you have been putting in place are coming to fruition.

Your own Self-Realization is the greatest service you can render the world.

Ramana Maharshi

This is why the World shows that you have the desire to give back to the community in various ways. You are committed to making the World a better place because you understand that everything is connected.

Whoever walks in the purpose of life invariably becomes a helper, a part of the cosmic government. So that we take care of our World and Universe. And that is why the woman on the card is holding the Magician’s wand.

Keywords: completion, achievement, 4 elements, phases of life, self-realization, giving back to others.

What are you waiting for to take the next step on your soul journey? Step through the portal of the World and…

Let the magic happen!
