Inspirational Bunch – A Bunch of Dual Chromed Scandinavian Patterns

Today’s Inspirational Bunch celebrates Scandinavian Patterns. Specifically, dual chromed Scandinavian Patterns.

Patterns, prints, and textures have a huge role in Scandinavian Design since the typical Scandinavian base canvas is quite neutral and soothing.

The traditional, folk Scandinavian patterns had lots of colors to their spectrum, while around the middle of the century, Scandinavian designers were betting on bold patterns that used a more reduced palette.

Among the patterns that we curated for today’s Bunch are some very recognizable ones. We’re featuring legendary designers as Stig Lindberg, Arne Jacobsen, Elissa Aalto, and power Finnish design house Marimekko. As a pattern designer, some of these are true holy grails for me. đŸ˜‰

We also included some very talented modern designers, as usual.

Have fun and keep designing!

Born and raised in Brasil, studied advertisement at Mackenzie University in Sao Paulo. But from a small child knew to be taken head over feet by fine arts, illustration, and photography. For that reason, attended Panamericana School of Art and Design, also in Brazil, and then ventured to learn some more at The Art Students League of New York, in Manhattan. After years spending time traveling the globe and living on an inspiring island at the center of the blue Aegean Sea, in Greece, settled to be based on electric Berlin, Germany. Still a world traveler, healthy eater, art lover, diy do-er and a words-addict.
